Sec 1s Practical Exam

Please take note that the practical exam will be held during the 1st week of term 4 i.e. the week between 8th - 12th Sep (during curriculum hours).

You are required to buy & bring all the required ingredients.  Also bring all your practical items i.e. apron, tea towel, dish cloth & container(s).

You will be graded based on the following criteria:-
  • Organisation (of time & space allotted)
  • Management (of ingredients & equipment)
  • Product & presentation (dish/dessert answered the coursework question, it is well prepared, cooked & served)

You are encouraged to try out your dishes at home.  This will enable you to obtain valuable feedback from your family members (who have tasted it).  You can thus improve on it accordingly.  
Serving plates are available but you may bring your own. Remember that a photograph of this dish / dessert will be taken so a good presentation is crucial.
